Cookie Policy
DYTP Wholesale (company number [company number], VAT number [VAT number]), registered office [registered address], email [email protected].
1. About this policy
1.1 This policy explains the cookies set by the website of DYTP Wholesale ([registered address], [email protected]) and what else the site loads from outside our servers.
1.2 A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Our site uses cookies only where they are needed for it to work.
2. Cookies we set
2.1 Session cookie. Set when you use the site so that the server can recognise your browser between pages. It keeps you signed in to your trade account or to the office area, and it holds the contents of your basket, which is a list of product codes and quantities. It contains a signed random reference only, and no price and no personal information are stored in it. It is deleted when you close your browser, and a signed-in session ends after 30 days without use.
2.2 CSRF cookie. Set to protect forms, including registration, sign-in, the basket, checkout and the enquiry form, from being submitted by another site without your knowledge. It contains a random token and no personal information. It expires with the session.
2.3 These are strictly necessary cookies. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 we do not need your consent to set them, which is why the site does not show a cookie banner.
3. What we do not do
3.1 We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media cookies or any other tracking technology.
3.2 We do not share cookie data with anyone.
3.3 We do not use cookies to build a profile of you or to follow you to other websites.
4. Third-party requests that are not cookies
4.1 The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address and standard request information as part of that request. Google does not set a cookie through this request, but it is a request to a third party. Google's own privacy notice applies to how it handles that data. We are considering hosting the fonts on our own server to remove this request, and this policy will be updated if that changes.
4.2 Apart from fonts, all pages, images and scripts are served from our own server.
5. Managing cookies
5.1 You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block the session and CSRF cookies you will not be able to sign in, keep a basket, check out or send the enquiry form.
6. More information
6.1 How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. Questions about cookies can be sent to [email protected].
