Accessibility Statement
DYTP Wholesale (company number [company number], VAT number [VAT number]), registered office [registered address], email [email protected].
1. Our commitment
1.1 DYTP Wholesale wants every trade customer to be able to use this website, whatever equipment they use and however they prefer to work.
1.2 We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA. This statement describes where we believe we meet that aim and where we know we fall short.
1.3 We test the site by working through it with a keyboard only and with a screen reader, and we check colour contrast and text size on the pages customers use most: the home page, a department listing, a product page, the basket, checkout, registration and the account pages.
1.4 We write in plain British English, in sentence case, and we say what a page is for at the top of it.
2. What works
2.1 Every part of the site can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone, including the department menu, the quantity steppers, the filters and every form. There is a skip link to the main content at the top of each page.
2.2 The keyboard focus is always visible, as a solid ring that stands out against both the page and the buttons it sits on.
2.3 Text can be resized in the browser, and the layout reflows without loss of content or function. The site works at the width of a phone screen.
2.4 Photographs of products carry alternative text, and images that are decoration only are hidden from screen readers.
2.5 Every form field has a visible label, help text where it is needed, and error messages that name the field and say what to do. Errors are announced, not shown by colour alone.
2.6 Headings, landmarks, lists and tables are marked up so that they can be navigated by structure. Tables of orders, invoices and pack sizes have proper header cells.
2.7 Nothing moves, flashes or animates when a page loads, and the small amount of motion the site uses is switched off when the browser asks for reduced motion.
3. Known limits
3.1 Invoices, credit notes, delivery notes and pro-forma invoices are generated documents in PDF form. They may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Tell us and we will send the same information by email in plain text.
3.2 Some product photographs come from our suppliers and the alternative text may describe the product only in general terms rather than in detail.
3.3 Some product descriptions and specifications are supplied to us by manufacturers and may use wording or abbreviations we have not been able to simplify.
3.4 We are working through these. This statement will be updated as they are fixed.
4. Getting content another way
4.1 If any part of this site is not usable for you, we will give you the same information another way: by email in plain text, by telephone, or by a member of staff taking your order at our counter.
4.2 Email [email protected] or telephone us. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
4.3 There is no charge for this, and it does not affect the prices or terms on your account.
5. Reporting a problem
5.1 If you find a problem with the accessibility of this site, email [email protected]. Tell us the page you were on, what you were trying to do and what happened, and tell us what equipment or assistive technology you were using if you can.
5.2 We will acknowledge your message within 5 working days, tell you what we can do and when, and give you the information you needed in the meantime.
6. Enforcement
6.1 We are required to make our services accessible to disabled people under the Equality Act 2010.
6.2 If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service, which gives free advice on discrimination and human rights. Their contact details are published at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
7. Review date
7.1 This statement was prepared on 15 September 2026 and is based on our own testing of the site.
7.2 We review it at least once a year, and whenever a significant change is made to the site.
